3. Third-Party Services
We share data only with the services required to operate the app:
- OpenAI — AI conversation processing. Conversations are processed to generate responses; we do not use your data to train OpenAI models.
- Stripe — Secure payment processing for premium subscriptions. We never store your card details.
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — Encrypted cloud database for storing your account and progress data.
- Google Fit API — Only accessed if you explicitly connect your Fitbit device. Heart rate data is read-only.
- SendGrid / Resend — Used only to send password reset emails.
4. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed with scrypt — irreversible and never stored in plain text
- Database access is restricted and authenticated
- Sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies

- Analytics data — retained for 24 months (anonymised)
